A 12-member
Advisory Council which meets annually serves to keep the
CJRE
Leadership team connected with and informed by the larger North American
social, political and faith context.
The Advisory Council is comprised of the Leadership
Team, a representative of the Sion Provincial Council and eight other
members involved in interfaith work. The members are chosen to bring a balance of Canadian and American
Christians and Jews. An effort is made to include members from other
Christian denominations
as well as representatives from the different
forms
of Judaism.
Advisory Council members are available to the Leadership
Team in a resourcing and consulting capacity. They may team
with
CJRE
for
workshops and other programs, and occasionally participate in parts
of Team meetings.
